The Psyche of Pakistani Politics- New Facts

Pakistani politics was mainly controlled by the strong military establishment through direct or indirect interference. Most of the national elections were rigged and no one has come into power without satisfying the military establishment. But this second decade of 21st century is seeing a different and more vibrant Pakistan.

For example, Pakistan's economic hub Karachi was given to MQM for obvious reasons by the Zia military regime and put Karachi into continuous terror. Musharaf and Zardari has given them extreme and unjustified power.Even in the last 30years, MQM has got power to blackmail every government and put the weak leaders as puppet due to their control in Karachi and Hyderabad. They are in a strong to position to put Karachi into terror or peace. MQM politics is all through guns.

Similarly, Lahore was the stronghold of PMLN and they have won almost every elections from this city and rural Sindh is with PPPP.

The new facts are the emergence of new political force in every part of Pakistan. For example, PTI has seven hundred thousand votes in Lahore city against the 1.2 millions votes of PMLN. This is a very serious dent in the stronghold of PMLN. Karachi is no different, for the first time in the history of Pakistan elections, another party other than MQM has got 30% over all polled votes which has made the MQM bhai log in strong anger and despair that they even killed PTI central leader Zohra sayed who was strong critic of MQM. ANP in the KP province has also melted down like ice due to their worst governance every in the history of KP.

Therefore, it is very interesting that the youth of Pakistan has changed every predictions of once undefeated leaders in these areas. This is the birth of new Pakistan. Now if they delivered in KP, no one can stop them to work in as single majority party in the next elections. Now people are more aware than our troubled past, social media has taken the lead to expose the illegal practices in Pakistan politics and society. If this continues, next elections will be the best elections.

Stop saying “Tomorrow”

Stop saying “Tomorrow” is one of the key to success in life. Most of us leave things on other day when it can be done easily now. This “Tomorrow’s” destroys many talented people and they never get the opportunity to do something of worth in life. Dreams can only be converted into goals by bringing it inside a “deadline”. Many people go through the dilemma of putting things to the next day “tomorrow”, “next week”, “next month” and gradually it becomes “someday”. Life can be driven towards success if we put it on the attitude of “NOW”. Let’s do it now, your job will be done simply.
Unfortunately we forget that today is the tomorrow of yesterday, so why shouldn’t be utilize it today instead of delaying to the next day and finally leads us to nothing. Therefore, tomorrow needs to be eliminated from life by making it today, a full utilization. If we keep going instead of using delaying tactics, we will certainly be reached to our goal. Remember, Goals are those dream and ambitions we had made it in a specific time.
Some of the people are using drugs just to deceive himself or herself to run away from the realities of today and forget the fact that “drugs are not the answer, it just makes one to forget the Question”. We also forget that everybody has got one life and there is no other chance to utilize, therefore we must be incharge of our own life.
To sum up, Tomorrow never arrives, start working on your dreams and ambitions TODAY.

Musharraf’s judicial hounding

Musharraf’s judicial hounding: in his position one gets what one deserves. But I wish our memories were not so selective. Everyone remembers, and waxes heroic about, November 3, 2007, completely ignoring October 12, 1999, when Musharraf and his generals committed their original sin. Is it because it suits us to forget some uncomfortable truths? The then judiciary, which includes present-day eminences, validated his coup not once but twice and there was no shortage of judges who took oath under Musharraf’s PCO. Shouldn’t this inculcate in everyone concerned a touch of humility?

Politics in Tribal Areas

Pakistan tribal areas are the most backward areas and the government of Pakistan has worked in the last 66 years only for the welfare of the Maliks. Government funds were misused by the political administration in these areas and intentionally the people were kept ignorant about their own rights. Education and health facilities are very few in these areas, even the situation is worst to the limit that even the most backward areas in the settled areas are far better than those in the tribal ares.

Government of Pakistan has divided tribal areas in two different administrative systems, one is Federally administered and the other is provincially administered. People are sandwiched among these two systems and political administration has got unlimited powers without any financial or moral liability. Bureaucrats wanted postings there to earn more money as there is no accountability system in the political administration in the tribal areas.

Presently, tribal areas are the safe heavens of terrorists and practically the nurseries of terrorism. The most unsafe areas in the world, that is only because the government of Pakistan has kept them blind by keeping them away from education, health, and other facilities. In most of the areas, people are living in the stone age time. Women folk is the most deprived as they have almost zero percent access to education and other health facilities. Taliban and other terrorist groups have found it the easy and safe growth in the name of religion while religion has nothing to do with terrorism.

The government of Pakistan is reaping what they sowed in the last 66 years. If Pakistan wants to maintain its writ in its tribal belt that are having rich natural resource, they must give them their basic rights of access to education, health, social and economic justice and equal rights to all citizens. It is very unfortunate that no political party has any agenda for the development of these areas in their manifestos. Not a single party has got any program for these areas. If we want to keep intact the very fabric of Pakistan, we must give them their due rights.

The solution is very simple, Just give them their due rights.

UNDUE DELAY IN PTI TICKETS AFFECTS NOT ONLY THE PARTY BUT THE NATION AS WELL

PTI, the hope of Pakistan is playing on a wrong field due to its undue delay in the ticket award when there is only a month left in the national elections. Imran Khan, the chairman of PTI seems to be indecisive about tickets award. Although other parties have also problems in tickets award but they are tested parties with concrete delivery to the national interests. In the case of PTI, it is the only hope left with the people but their undue and unjustified delay disappointing not only the PTI workers to go for a strong electoral campaign but the voters in large.

During the last few months, PTI has proved to be a weak entity with lack of coordination and home work among the hierarchy of the organization.  Their prolonged party elections at the climax of national elections has weakened the party as it has divided among different groups and their strong opposition to each other is still affecting the party ticket award process.

Imran Khan needs to travel all across the country, from Quetta to Peshawar, and Karachi to Lahore and it will be very hard to focus on all the areas in such a short time and the election results will be badly affected. Imran Khan has no time to waste, he has to decide everything now otherwise will left Pakistan in the hands of old corrupt and illiterate elite.

Politics in Pakistan

Politics in Pakistan is one of the worst activity one can every imagine in life. The only criteria for success is wealth, if you have money and no education or no character, Pakistan can make you a leader. Success without money is impossible. To get a ticket of a party, one have to spend huge amount money on the leadership, even the religious parties are also no spare in this. Even JUI-F gives party ticket for elections to the wealthiest. Azam Swati, Javed Khattak, Qasim Khattak, and so many other examples as  well. Akram Durani was favored for the CM post only as he was the financier of the leadership. PTI, the party with a slogan of change has no spare in this. Imran Khan is good but most of the leaders in his basket are the champions of status quo.

That is one of the main reason that people who are financially of middle class, can never imagine of any active role in politics. Money and wealth are the main criteria and moralities have nothing to do with Pakistani politics. The illiterate and the corrupt are ready to lead the country for the next five years.
